As you are probably aware if you keep an eye on the trends, each season color institute Pantone releases a handy palette to help you know which colors are in and to coordinate them accordingly. The fall 2015 palette from Pantone is full of interesting color choices, and if you are wondering how best to make them your own, here are some ideas!

‘Stormy Weather’

One of the easiest colors to wear from the fall 2015 collection from Pantone is ‘Stormy Weather’. This is a dark gray with slight dark blue tones to it – imagine a stormy sea and you have the idea of what they are going for with this one – it is natural, it is interesting, but it is also a neutral that looks great in all kinds of fabrics and for all kinds of garments. This is a great color to wear for work, because it looks great on a pants or skirt suit, and can also be a good choice for your fall coat because it is classic but still very 2015. If you find it a bit too somber on its own, try mixing it with one of the brighter colors from the palette like Amethyst Orchid, a beautiful jewel like purple, or Cadmium Orange, a bold, fun salmon.

‘Biscay Bay’

If you like to spice up your wardrobe with bright, interesting colors then you will love Pantone’s Biscay Bay – a rich, stunning petrol blue which is as sophisticated as it is vibrant. You can use this hue to brighten up a more neutral outfit by layering a simple top in this color under jackets or suits or choosing accessories like scarves and bags that add a splash of Biscay Bay to an outfit. It is also great for the evening, as it looks beautiful in luxury fabrics like silk and satin, and if you really want to get noticed, try wearing sequin tops that sparkle with this beautiful color.

‘Cashmere Rose’

Cashmere Rose is a soft pink that is a great transitioning color to take you from your summer wardrobe to your fall one. Try lace cardigans in this pretty, feminine color for the start of the season, or go for soft, comfy knits over dresses. This color also looks amazing in suede or soft leather, so look out for jackets, bags and boots to add a gentle touch of pink to your fall clothing.

From work to formal wear, there are countless ways to wear the fall palette, so choose your favorite pieces and create some beautiful fall outfits!
