Two Fingers: in the studio
Currently making a good stink in the Plan B office is the debut LP from Two Fingers, a production outfit that pulls together the talents of downtempo Ninja Tune mainstay Amon Tobin, UK hip-hop joker Sway, and producer Doubleclick. Don’t know too much about the latter but the first two have always struck me as talents who have rather squandered their ability. No longer though! Two Fingers is highly recommended, reconciling Tobin’s dexterous beat-moulding with a choppy energy reminsicent (to me) of uptempo Timbaland and Terrah Danjah.
