So you want to get in touch with Plan B. Fantastic, but you’ve got more chance of a reply if you follow the following guidelines.
I want to pitch some writing… who should I send to?
It’s important to send it to the correct section editor. See below for contact details for the people who handle each respective section. We'd like to respond to everyone but we get lots of submissions so please don't be offended if we don't get back to you.
I want to send you an album for review.
Lauren Strain is the albums editor – you can send her stuff at the office address about. If you’re trying to get an album to a specific writer, drop her an email and she can probably pass on their contact details. Editor Louis Pattison and Void editor kicking_k also work from the office, and it’s a good idea to mail copies to them if you’ve got several.
I want to send you details of a live event.
Lauren puts together the gig guide, so email her details.
Can you put details of our live show on the website?
We’ve only got space to trail Plan B-affiliated shows online, but we
do have a listings forum, so feel free to leave details of your show
there.
I want to send you my single/EP/demo.
kicking k is your man. A different writer (or writers) do the singles
column every month so it’s a little bit luck-of-the-draw, but mark
the envelope Singles or something similar and it’ll be
considered for inclusion.
I want to submit some sample photography
Email Cat and she'll tell you how best to submit images.
I want to submit some illustration
Email designer Andrew Clare. Andrew isn’t in the office very often,
so please don’t send things to the office address.
