Domino Records have announced they are to reissue nine classic Robert Wyatt albums this Autumn. Although the albums will include no new or unreleased material, they will be made available on both CD and vinyl, with three of the albums being released on the latter format for the first time.
Rock Bottom, Ruth Is Stranger Than Richard, Nothing Can Stop Us, and Drury Lane 1974 are released on 27th October.
Old Rottenhat, Dondestan, Shleep, EPs, and Cuckooland will hit shelves on 17th November.
The reissues will be preceded on 20th October by a new single, ‘This Summer Night’, which is a collaboration between Wyatt and French producer/composer Bertrand Burgalat. It will also include a remix by Hot Chip.
The reissue programme will then be followed by a Robert Wyatt box set in December, details of which are as yet unannounced.
